John Schmidt: 9 Ball #2

Another video installment of PoolBum's personal library of John Schmidt private pool lessons. In this video, John explains and demonstrates how he would play through a 9 ball rack. Get an inside view of how a champion makes shot selection decisions.

One in the series of videos from private lessons. There is background noise for the 1st 30 seconds of a nearby table being vacuumed. I felt the information was valuable enough to share with PoolBum visitors anyway. I found it interesting that John would choose to shoot the six ball in a way that assured he would make it and be able to stay at the table, rather than going for "ideal" position on the seven. Think about that... John is a champion player and still determined that his first consideration would be cinching the six and dealing with whatever outcome he got. Should a lesser player do it any other way?
