Here's a list of general billiard supply businesses and my impressions about their site. If I have had personal dealings with them I mention it. When you don't see any comment it simply means I haven't had a chance to spend time at their site. PoolBum.com makes no guarantees about what your experiences will be. This is not a complete list of all the online pool equipment suppliers (but I'm working on it, lol). | Border Billiards is more pleasant, organized and easy to navigate then many of the comparable sites. Cues were divided into Production Cues and Custom Cues but as far as I could see all listed in both sections were production models. If you're shopping for a Viking cue they carry a lot of models. |

| Insidepool Billiards Superstore. Not to be confused with InsidePool Magazine which is a classy operation. When I got to this site I felt like I was in one of those large discount stores that bombards you with announcements of what great deals they offer. I felt a bit ticked off right away because I was trying to get to Inside Pool Magazine. But I spent some time at the site and felt even more irritable. I found one link that said Inside Pool Magazine that took me back to the store’s front page. They might be great to deal with but their site does little to convey that. |

Omega Billiard Supply offers a full line of products including their own line of Omega Cues. These products are reasonably priced and well made (see the review of an Omega Break/Jump cue). The owner's name is Mike and he has a large booth at many tournaments. I have found him to be honest and good to do business with. I have no doubt that I will buy stuff from him again.

| Platinum Billiard Supply was easy to navigate and well organized. You can shop for a pool cue either by brand or price. They carry Predator brand cues and shafts and list all the countries that now have exclusive dealerships. This means they can't ship to these countries without jeopardizing their own Predator distributorship. |

| PoolDawg carries cues from $19.99 with some over $1000 and at the upper end a couple nice Samsaras and some Predators. The selection is decent no matter what price range you were looking for. Pool accessories and extra shafts for numerous brands of cues as well as the OB and Predator shafts. They had a cute feature of a magnifying glass that can be drug around with your mouse to get a close up of the cues. Free shipping over $75. |

| Seyberts Billiard Supply says they are a "one-stop" billiard supply company. They try to live up to this by having a large selection of cues, pool books, pool videos as well as pool tables. The site is full featured and easy to navigate. The times I have done business with them I have found them to be good to deal with. |

| Tips Pro Shop is a Longoni Cues and pool accessories distributor located in Canada but trying to establish a presence in the U.S. market. I met the manager, Kara at her booth at a 9-Ball/One-Pocket tournament in the States. I was impressed by her commitment to only carry high quality goods. Consequently, the selection of accessories is a bit limited and you'll find only Longoni, Kwik Fire and Predator. The only playing cues I saw for under $400 were some Stealth products. Longoni manufactures some unique products like their clear bridge head. |
