My opinion (and that of many others) is that he is long overdue to be inducted into the BCA Hall of Fame. As a side note he is also in the Boxing Hall of Fame. Straight pool (14.1 continuous) is likely his strongest game with one pocket a close second. Danny is a popular commentator for Accu-Stats and has a wealth of knowledge that he can communicate well, peppered with some fun war stories. I am honored to be able to call him a good friend.

Danny has a book out recounting pool and gambling stories called Road Player. It's available at various book dealers including Bebob Publishing and Accu-Stats. If you are into straight pool or recognize it as the great game it is to improve all your other games, you will love this video. He doesn't compete these days but still travels all over the world giving lessons. A French player gives the lion's share of the credit for a major European straight pool title to Danny. This video is a gem and about 10 minutes into the lesson he and his student start playing out racks with Danny giving a clear appraisal of each situation.
