Why "PoolBum?"

When people ask me what I do, sometimes I say I'm a PoolBum. It's my user name on many sites that I visit (when I can get it). Truth is, I don't feel like a bum in the negative sense. Is there a positive sense of a PoolBum? Sure. A PoolBum is a good player or (as in my case) a student of the game of billiards, constantly working to improve. He spends a lot of time at it and there are few things he'd rather do. His other activities often revolve around pool... like learning how to build a website so I could launch this one lol. I like having that laid back sense of bummin' and to not take this very fleeting life all that seriously. Folks, in case you haven't noticed, we are only leasing here. Follow your heart and dreams, don't be overly sensitive, have a few laughs (especially at yourself) and you'll do just fine and have very few regrets.
